Senior Design Engineer
I joined AMD after working for a year and half with SGI MIPS 64 bit microprocessor group. Although I expected a different work culture with a start up kind of intensity, I was surprised by the great teamwork, camaraderie and willingness to help among my peers. If AMD is a market leader in the x86 processor field then to a large extent it is because of the people and an environment that constantly challenges us to give our best. For the past two years no two days have been the same with new set of design problems and challenges we face. For someone like me who has been in the microprocessor design industry for the past 4 years it has been one great learning experience.
